The U5i was seen in an FCC document by the usual suspects. No doubts the device will be launched in the US market. But the exact date is still not known.
What is interesting about the U5i, is its naming convention. The “i” suffix belonged to such Sony Ericsson devices as a K700i, an S700i and a P900i, don’t you remember? But in fact there was no official U series from Sony Ericsson.
But still one can note that the Satio was known as the U1 within the company as well as the Aino was U10. The common thing about the U devices was the following: they were based on touchscreen. The Kurara that will soon be ready for sale and the phone was known as U5 in the past, is what we can see at an Americanised Kurara? May be, who knows.
