Edwin Jackson (born September 9, 1983, in Neu-Ulm, Bavaria, West Germany) is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks.
"It was a weird game. There were a lot of walks, and it was just a weird game," said first baseman Adam LaRoche, who caught the throw from shortstop Stephen Drew for the last out of the game. "Not a ton of tough plays. 'Effectively wild' would apply. It was awesome."
Halladay matched Jim Bunning's Father's Day 1964 performance with his usual workhorse effort, registering the eighth perfect game in the NL and the 10th Phillies no-hitter with 115 pitches and 11 strikeouts, still his season high.
