Alam's character is Yvetta, a new dancer at Fangtasia, the hotspot for vampires in Louisiana. Skarsgaard (whose character is Eric) begins a physical relationship with his latest hire. Wonder if Kate Bosworth, Skarsgaard's rumored off-screen flame, is feeling any jealousy pangs?

Natasha Alam (born March 10, 1983 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan) is a Russian-American actress and model currently living in Los Angeles. In 1996 Natasha met Amir Ebrahim Pahlavi Alam, who is the grandson of the former Shah of Iran. The couple married in New York in 1998 and divorced in 2005. Television shows she has guest or co-starred in include CSI, NYPD Blue, Nip/Tuck, The Unit and Entourage. She also played the recurring role of 'Ava', a Forrester model, in The Bold and the Beautiful from 2004 to 2007. Films she has appeared in include the 2007 horror Shadow Puppets and the 2008 comedy The Women.

“I’d never done nudity. I had to overcome a few things in my head to do it… [Then] here comes Alexander Skarsgard. He drops his robe, and he’s not wearing a sock – nothing," she told the mag. "He’s just totally out there, walking around as if nothing’s going on. I was like, if he can do it, I can do it."
