It boasts of a 3-megapixel camera but no flash. It will run Google and Android 2.1 with Motoblur-style interface. Notably the same interface is seen on Droid X and Droid 2, which was released on August 12.
That said, the gang at Android Central has published an alleged screenshot from Verizon's computer system that says the Incredible's Android 2.2 rollout will begin this Friday, August 27. Another Android blog, Droid-Life.com, has a different screenshot showing the same date.
The main points of what this update will bring new are:
* Adobe Flash Player 10.1 support in the web browser
* 720p HD video recording
* WiFi 802.11n
* 3G mobile hotspot
* rotate the screen 270 degrees – either to the left or right
* text message widget
* automatic app updates
Verizon has posted a detailed support page on their website, with information on the update and the main features that Android 2.2 Froyo brings to the table.
