Raw milk is gaining in popularity as “organic eating” becomes a widespread trend but as this milk has not been pasteurized heated at high temperatures to kill germs like the milk in the grocery store it can potentially be contaminated with salmonella and the CDC recommends raw milk should be avoided altogher.

I'd just like to point out that most home made ice cream recipes do not use raw eggs, they use a custard base, which means the eggs are fully cooked, they're just incorporated well so they aren't scrambled. Also, the greatest risk of contamination is from produce, raw milk is exponentially more healthy than it's 'dead' counterpart, and this site is freaking weird.
