The Intergovernmental Panel On Climate Change (IPCC) Has Welcomed A Report

The report we are releasing today identifies and recommends fundamental reforms to IPCC’s management structure,Robbert Dijkgraaf, co-chair of the InterAcademy Council (IAC) and head of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Science, told a news conference at UN Headquarters in New York. The greater part of Metro Manila is currently experiencing water supply shortage as Angat Dam’s water level critically fell 22.21 meters below the 180 meters.

The panel’s credibility came into question after revelations that the report contained some mistakes, including over the rate of Himalayan glacier melt. This is a very long report with hundreds of pages," said Richard Dixon, director of WWF Scotland."It is not surprising that at the end of the day, there are a few errors in what they quote. It has given great ammunition to the sceptics, which is a shame, when it was acknowledged that the conclusion that the world is warming is correct.

The IPCC has admitted that the Himalayan glacier reference was wrong, but says its core conclusions about climate change are sound, an opinion shared by mainstream scientists. It recommended "that these guidelines be made more specific including adding guidelines on what types of literature are unacceptable and strictly enforced to ensure that unpublished and non-peer-reviewed literature is appropriately flagged.
