Kolb attempts to take over the offense for the Eagles and Palmer tries to place the Bengals as an AFC contender for the fall season.Kolb is facing much more pressure than Palmer, although neither player is technically in danger of losing their job. Kolb is attempting to replace a terrific quarterback who led the Eagles to victory at not only a few NFC Championship games, but also at the Super Bowl. The first player in league history to pass for at least 300 yards in his first two NFL starts. He's earned praise from the coaching staff for his accuracy, a valued trait for a team that runs the precision-based West Coast offense, and head coach Andy Reid has been impressed by Kolb's ability to apply lessons learned and avoid making the same mistakes more than once.
