Apple is set to release three new iPods, including an new iPod Nano, iPod Touch, and a possible replacement for the beleaguered iPod Shuffle that would incorporate a small 1.7-inch touch screen. The source didn't have anything to offer on whether the new iPod Touch will have a built-in camera, but that seems to be the main question of the hour on the Touch front.

Think about it. How tall would the phone have to be to squeeze in a 16:9 screen yet still make it comfortable to hold the phone, keep it in your pants pocket, and type comfortably in portrait mode (yes I can text on a touch screen with one hand but I have to look) I'd prefer something near the current size of the phone, even if I had to watch with the letterboxes. It doesn't really bother me that much.

I don't mean to be rude but I have to point out the obvious. That is how Apple works, that's how their product appeal and anticipation works. They wouldn't just release a product because all the rumors are out there. In fact, they like that. The rumors that are constantly circulating are free publicity for them. People read all about the rumored front facing camera, retina display, etc. And then will all be hyped up about it. The other thing all these rumors do is keep people interested in buying a new iPod rather than buying some other kind of mp3/mp4 player. Apple -- whether we like it or not -- has the brand interest that makes this possible. And unfortunately we're human and most humans react with interest to idle gossip and rumors.

1800-2000MaH batts should be the way forward especially for device/smartphone makers such as Apple.Inc with HUGE R&D resources. It’s astonishing really that we’re subject to 3rd party designs with far less endowed funds in the same aspect.

Concept designs and rumors are something that go hand-in-hand with upcoming generations of anticipated gadgetry…. especially when it comes to our beloved mobile devices. Case-in-point this morning, a new iPhone 5 design concept I stumbled across. Yes, it’s September 2010, and I’ve already spotted a next-gen concept. Have mercy.1800-2000MaH batts should be the way forward especially for device/smartphone makers such as Apple.Inc with HUGE R&D resources. It’s astonishing really that we’re subject to 3rd party designs with far less endowed funds in the same aspect.

"Now you can run your favorite third-party apps ? and switch between them instantly without slowing down the performance of the foreground app or draining the battery unnecessarily.* This smarter approach to multitasking is available only on iPhone AT&T is also beefing up it’s planned LTE fallback, HSPA network, especially in San Fransico where the service has notoriously spotty coverage. A nationwide HSPA+ rollout is expected later this year that is capable of 7 Mbsp download speeds.

Imagine that latter patent, if tied to location-based services and iTunes music streaming, could actually enable a user to hear their choice of music from whatever output device they happened to be near -- in their den, their bedroom, in the car, on their iPhone/iPod, in their office and (possibly) discretely in the background on public transport.

I got a Galaxy S phone instead, 14% lighter and 4" is really not to big :) i even forget its in my pocket! Battery is very similar to the iphone but looses out because the screen sucks up more juice, after all they have almost the same processor (SOC), gyroscope, and battery. So i choose the one with a nicer(IMO) bigger screen, that seamed to be able to take more abuse.
