
In the following year, she had her first taste of fame while playing Kim McCloud in “Student Bodies,” a syndicated sitcom that mixed animation with live action and was produced in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She also made a guest appearance in an episode of the Canadian teen/horror TV series "Big Wolf on Campus," starring Brandon Quinn.The new millennium proved to be Finnigan's big time when she broke American TV scene with the breakout role of Bridget Forrester, the spunky teenage daughter of Brooke Logan (played by Katherine Kelly Lang) and Eric Forrester (played by John McCook), replacing previous regular Agnes Bruckner, in the long-running American soap opera "The Bold and the Beautiful." She portrayed the character from 2000 to 2004 and has won three Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series category. The role also earned her nominations at the Soap Opera Digest Awards and Young Artist Awards.
She also starred in the short-lived Fox Family television series, "The Fearing Mind," and played the title role of a shy teenage girl becomes entangled in a volatile relationship with a pair of popular high-school lovers in the true story-based TV movie, "The Stalking of Laurie Show."After her contract with "The Bold and the Beautiful" ended, Finnigan played the recurring role of Dr. Devan Maguire (2004), a pathology resident on NBC's crime/drama series starring Jill Hennessy, "Crossing Jordan." In this year, she was also seen in advertisements for Almay cosmetics.
