| Sonal Chauhan shot to fame by reaching the finals of the Miss India pageant in 2005. It was also the year Sonal won the Miss World Tourism in Malaysia. She was the first Indian to win the title. Sonal Chauhan pursued her dream of becoming a model and did many advertisements for popular brands like Ponds, Diet Pepsi, Lays, Hero Honda Passion and Nokia. She shifted to Mumbai to continue her modeling career. Sonal Chauhan made her film debut in Mukesh Bhatt's Jannat paired opposite Emraan Hashmi which was a box office success and her first hit. | ||
