Hunt on for Aishwarya Rai’s second lover!

The search is on for a suitable actor to play the lover of Aishwarya Rai in director Madhur Bhandarkar’s film Heroine.

The film, announced in Cannes, already features Arjun Rampal as one of the male actors. Now, Bhandarkar is on the lookout for another male star to play Aishwarya’s lover.

The role is of a young actor whom the heroine played by Aishwarya Rai uses to her advantage. She gets into a torrid romantic affair with him to climb up the ladder to fame. Aishwarya’s character in the film is of a manipulative and at the same time a vulnerable woman who goes to great lengths to fulfil her ambition.

Reportedly, three actors are under consideration for the role of Aishwarya’s young lover. Ranbir Kapoor, Imran Khan and Prateik Babbar are the trio, but Bhandarkar still has to make a call on who would suit the role best.
